NOC can be used for employment, Registrations under various acts like GST, private limited company, firm, LLP's etc.

1. Contents of NOC

No Objection Certificate (NOC) Contains the following

  1. Owner Name
  2. Address of Property
  3. Name of the business
  4. Signature of the Owner

Along with the NOC, following are the documents required to support address proof

  1. Electricity Bill
  2. Property tax Receipt
  3. Rental Agreement if available
  4. Sale Deed

3. When to consider NOC

  1. If the business place is own or owned by relatives need to prepare NOC.
  2. The NOC is not only required for moving a vehicle from one state to another but also when a vehicle is being sold to someone who intends to take it to another state or union territory.
  3. That said, the only circumstance in which you do not need to obtain an NOC for two wheeler is if you are travelling to another state for a period of up-to three months. NOC should be obtained for stays extending 3 months.

Generally the no objection certificate need to be notarised by a registered notary before using is as a supporting document for a registration.

1. Why is NOC required?

NOC is required if the property is neither on rental nor on own name. For example, Mr Krishna is staying with his parents and property is on his father's name. In this Case, Krishna is required to get NOC from his father and submit the same to GST.

2. Is NOC required to be notarized?

It is not mandatory to get the NOC Notarized unless it is required by jurisdictional GST officer.

3. What happens if NOC is not submitted while GST Registration?

If NOC is not submitted while GST Registration, GST officer will reject the GST registration. NOC is mandatory if it is consent premises.
