No Objection Certificate popularly known as NOC is a legal document issued by an organization or individual saying that they have no objection for the details mentioned in the document. NOC can be used for employment, Registrations under various acts like GST, private limited company, firm, LLP's etc.
If the taxpayer owns the property or if the property is not on rent or lease, NOC is mandatory for GST registration and other registrations.

Generally the no objection certificate need to be notarised by a registered notary before using is as a supporting document for a registration.
Download the no objection certificate text from below, copy and paste in to MS Word or Google Docs or Apple Pages or MS wordpad or notepad any other text editor and
NOC is required if the property is neither on rental nor on own name. For example, Mr Krishna is staying with his parents and property is on his father's name. In this Case, Krishna is required to get NOC from his father and submit the same to GST.
It is not mandatory to get the NOC Notarized unless it is required by jurisdictional GST officer.
If NOC is not submitted while GST Registration, GST officer will reject the GST registration. NOC is mandatory if it is consent premises.
