EZTax.in provides multiple services to e-file your Income Tax Return. Self-Service IT Filing plans range from Free to Paid and are ideal for anyone comfortable using a computer or smartphone. For more complex situations, our Tax Expert Assisted Filing service lets EZTax experts handle your return on your behalf. We also offer Tax Consultation services for personalised advice on asset sales, notice handling, tax optimisation, and other complex scenarios.

Step 1 — Create Your Account
Visit eztax.in/self/#/signup and fill in three simple fields.

Email Address
Enter the email address you have active access to. All account notifications — including the activation link — will be sent here. Use a personal email you check regularly.

Password
Choose a strong password that combines uppercase letters, numbers, and special symbols (e.g.,
Tax@2025!). This keeps your financial data secure. Avoid using your name or date of birth.3
Mobile Number
Enter your valid 10-digit Indian mobile number. This is used for OTP verification and important filing alerts.

Click "Create Account"
Once all fields are filled in correctly, click the Create Account button. You will immediately receive an activation email — check your inbox (and spam folder if needed).

Tip: If you don't receive the activation email within 5 minutes, check your spam or junk folder. You can also request a resend from the login page.
Step 2 — Activate Your Account
Check your inbox for the activation email and click the link to confirm your account.

Check Your Email
After signing up, you will receive an email from EZTax.in with an "Activate Account" button. Open this email — it will look similar to the screenshot alongside.

Click "Activate Account"
Click the blue Activate Account button in the email. This confirms your email address and instantly unlocks your EZTax account. Your browser will open a confirmation page.

Log In with Your Credentials
Once activated, go to eztax.in/self/#/signin and enter the email address and password you used during registration.

Forgot Your Password?
If you forget your login credentials, click "Forgot Password" on the login screen. Enter your registered email to receive a password reset link instantly.

Important: The activation link expires after 24 hours. If it expires, simply log in with your email and password — the system will prompt you to resend a new activation email.

Your account is ready — here's what to do next.

Choose Self-Service (DIY) or Expert Assisted filing based on your needs and comfort level.

Enter your PAN, assessment year, residential status, and filing type (Individual / HUF).

Add salary income from your Form 16, and then other income sources as applicable.
→
Claim 80C, 80D, HRA, and other deductions to reduce your tax liability.
Pro tip: Keep your PAN card, Form 16, AIS/26AS statement, and bank statements handy before you begin filing. This makes the process faster and smoother.
