Income Tax Audit due date extension for FY 2022-23

Due to the feedback from the field of tax consultants, taxpayers and stakeholders, central board of direct taxes (CBDT) extended the deadlines for two scenarios

1. The Tax Audit report through form 10B/10BB for fund or trust or institution or any university or other educational institution or any hospital or other medical institution, or for charitable or religious trusts or institutions for FY 2022-23 is due on 30th September 2023 is now extended to 31st October 2023.
2. The 31st October 2023 deadline for filing ITR-7 for fiscal year 2022-23 has been extended to 30th November 2023 from 31st October 2023.

What was not changed with this notification is the due dates for regular company or individual tax audit through Form 3CA-3CD and 3CB-3CD, which is Sep 30th 2023
