Additional Information Needed:

1. Nature of client: We need to know whether the client who is looking for a trademark registration is a proprietor or having a partnership firm, LLP, Or a private limited company or a society.

2. Entity is Operational ? Check whether it is proposed companyoroperational company.

  1. If it is a proposed company, share the company names and the nature of business
  2. If it is an existing company, share the invoices from the beginning of the company formation to till the application date of the trademark.

Types of trademarks

  1. Word mark : Word mark is the most common type of trademark found in india.It includes word, tagline or punchline, slogan, design. It is a combinations of words with any pictorial representation. Ex: Facebook, coco cola.
  2. Device mark : - It includes Logo, or design, punch line, slogan. Device mark is eye-catching and attractive which makes it easy for the public to remember.
  3. Sound mark: It is the trademark where the sound is used to perform the trademark function and it should not exceed 3 seconds. In India ICICI bank was the first to register sound as a trademark.

  • Actuals like photo copying and other related expenses will be extra. (It depends upon the volume of documents filed by either side)
  • Actuals like expenses of journey to Chennai, local travelling and boarding at Chennai shall be born by the Client only.
  • If any changes like Change of attorney, Examination report reply have to be made in the existing application before or after registration like change of Address/change of partner etc., then only this expenses are applicable.
  • If the trademark receives an opposition or if we have to oppose any other trademark which is similar to our trademark then these expenses will be applicable.
